It’s that time again! We are pleased to announce a call to artists for SDAI’s “50th International Award Exhibition”, held March 21 – May 10, 2009 at the Museum of the Living Artist, San Diego, CA with over $7,350 total presented in Awards.

The Museum of the Living Artist (MoLA ) is a 10,000 square-foot state-of-the-art gallery space, located in the heart of scenic Balboa Park, a botanical jewel and the centerpiece of the city of San Diego. Balboa Park attracts 12 million visitors annually to its 32 cultural organizations. SDAI ’s Museum of the Living Artist is dedicated to the advancement of the visual arts through outreach, education and exhibition.

This exhibition is open to all domestic and international artists. Juror: Julia Marciari Alexander, PhD. (Yale University) Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs, San Diego Museum of Art. All media will be considered. All work must be the original work of the applicant. Size limitation: 96 in. x 96 in. (including any frames).

Members: $20 for 1 entry or $25 for 2 entries; Non Members: $40 for 1 entry or $50 for 2 entries. Deadline: January 15, 2009 – online applications only.
